👑 Executive Terms & Policies: Detroit Limo Star (DLS)
Our policies are designed to maintain the quality and exclusivity of our service, protecting the integrity of our luxury fleet and the schedules of our executive clientele.
💳 Billing & Cancellation Policy
Detroit Limo Star adheres to strict cancellation windows due to the high demand for our luxury vehicles. All deposits and payments are processed upon booking confirmation.
Airport Trips and Point-to-Point Engagements:
- Cancellations must be received more than 48 hours ahead of the scheduled pick-up time for a 100% refund.
- Clients are responsible for paying the full amount if the trip is cancelled less than 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time.
Elite Hourly Service Engagements:
- Cancellations must be received more than 7 days (168 hours) ahead of the scheduled pick-up time for a 100% refund.
- Hourly service engagements cancelled less than 7 days before the pickup time are non-refundable.
💰 Premium Service Fees
The following flat fees apply to specialized service requests and premium
calendar dates:
- Premium Calendar Dates: An additional surcharge of $45.00 applies for trips on the following major holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve.
- Additional Itinerary Stops: A fee of $45.00 applies for each requested stop during a Point-to-Point or Airport transfer. Stops are limited to a maximum duration of 10 minutes and a maximum of two stops per trip.
- Child Seat Management: A fee of $40.00 applies for the concierge service of holding a client’s child seat and ensuring it is ready for your return arrival. (Note: DLS does not supply or install child seats; client assumes all liability for proper installation.)
⏳ Overages & Wait Time Policy
Our schedule integrity ensures prompt service for all our clients. Wait time is strictly enforced:
- Executive Pick-Ups (Home/Business): A 15-minute grace period is provided following the scheduled pick-up time. Beginning in the 16th minute, a charge of $45.00 applies for each 15-minute increment thereafter. DLS reserves the right to cancel the engagement after 30 minutes past the scheduled pick-up time, with no refund issued.
- Airport Pick-Ups (Arrivals): DLS Dispatch proactively monitors all incoming flights. We will adjust your pick-up time based on actual landing. However, wait charges may apply for excessive delays (e.g., customs/immigration, lost baggage) that exceed one hour after the flight has officially arrived at the gate.
✔️ Damage and Conduct Policies
- Cleaning & Sanitation: A minimum sanitation fee of $500.00 will be charged for any excessive clean-up required to restore the vehicle to its premium condition (e.g., bodily fluids, food spillage).
- Vehicle Damage: The client assumes full financial liability for any and all damage to the vehicle caused by them or any members of their party during the rental duration. This includes a minimum fee of $400.00 for each carpet or seat burn.
- Prohibited Conduct: Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited: Alcohol consumption and drug use are prohibited by law; all resulting fines are the responsibility of the client.
- Passenger Behavior: DLS reserves the right to immediately terminate the engagement, without refund, if the chauffeur determines a passenger is behaving in a disorderly, profane, or abusive manner.
🔒 Digital Consent, Privacy, & Liability
- User Consent: By confirming a reservation or signing up for text message communications, you acknowledge and agree to DLS's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, including our use of data for transactional and executive communication.
- Opt-out Procedures: You may opt out of receiving promotional messages at any time by replying 'STOP' or 'UNSUBSCRIBE' to a text message.
- Lost Items: Detroit Limo Star is not responsible for articles left in the vehicle. We recommend carefully checking the cabin upon exiting.
- Liability: DLS disclaims liability for issues related to mobile carrier transmission, technical malfunctions, and data security breaches outside of our control. Your use of our services constitutes acknowledgment that no data transmission is 100% secure.
